2006 Lux/auto at 72k Miles on North Eastern roads:
- Head replaced at 15K miles under warranty
- Radio head unit replaced at end of warranty (black paint worn through on some buttons)
- Transfer Case servo motor replaced under warranty
- Roof trim replaced due to crack issue, warranty
- Running on second set of tires
- One brake job
- Replaced worn floor mats
- Sunroof drains clogged twice (I cleared them the second time myself)
Pending work that needs to be done:
- Sounds like I have a loose exhaust heat shield that I need to check out
- Some minor rust spots on rear leaf springs and shackles, I'll touch these up with some Rustoleum Rust Converter spray.
- One small area on the driver's side step bar has some flaked off black paint, looks like stainless steel underneath! I'll touch it up myself with black paint.
Overall the truck is in great shape and still drives/looks like new. I'm also very impressed with how the body and interior are holding up! IMO the materials used are of high quality, durable, and put together nicely.

2006 Hummer H3
Purchased used Nov 08, 39,900 miles (second owner)
Now has just under 52,000 miles
The truck had no service records but was a lease. So I don't know what work was done prior to me owning it.
This is what I have done:
Replaced fuse box cover (PO broke tabs)
Did the <$90 air intake mod
Fixed the side moulding to roof rail fit (PO may have broken tabs when adding marker lights)
Oil & Filter (Twice)
Front brake pads @ 51,000 miles
Changed transfer case fluid @ 51,000 miles
The only issue I have is I get a SRVC TPM once in a while, especially at highway speeds. Not too worried about it.
I'm very happy with the H3 so far. The cargo area has a few scrapes but the rest of the interior is mint. I have a slight ding on the rear door, the exterior looks great. It has the luxury package with add-on adventure package.
Oh yeah, I'm getting around 18mpg. People are pretty surprised at the milage.

Well... My 07 base 5-speed has 72,361 on it. Purchased it new off the showroom floor Sept 27, 2007. Am a regular at the service department, but nothing that I can say I didn't expect. Bulbs, cracked roof rails, tranny hard to shift (well, shifts fine, but not to my liking, oil changes, & had to have the ECU reprogramed).

2006 H3 Adventure
Purchased 11/2005
Traded in at 44,000 miles
2009 H3X
Purchased 12/2008
Current 9300 miles
Had to trade in before the warrenty ran out,
the 06 didn't have the 100,000 mi warrenty.
In 2012 it will be time to trade in again.... Hummer of course.

2006 Black Adventure Turned Tactical
54,500 Miles+
Extended Protection Plan 85,000 miles
Tons of mods
Aside from the standard- oil & lube, tire rotation, filters, wipers, brakes and rotor maintenance, new battery terminal self fix, and a massive sunroof leak that flooded the front floorboards due to clogged drains, the only trip to the dealer was over a faulty drivers side window control module.
