The Official 50,000 Mile H3 Club thread
This weekend I officially hit the 50k mile mark on my '06 H3.
Purchased: October 2005
Package: Base model 5-speed Manual Transmission
Ironically, it is also in the service department for Service Visit Lucky #13 to replace most of the differential portion of the drivetrain.
I am driving a brand new '08 H3 Alpha as a loaner, so obviously I am not too distraught over the situation
If anybody else is a part of this rare breed, please post a reply. I believe there are one or two other members that have hit this mark. One of Mike's customers came in a few weeks ago with 83k miles on his, so there are some of us out there.
As the list grows, share your stories. Obviously with 13 service visits under my belt, I have many

58,673 to date...Purchased July 2006. So far, no major problems
1. Had to have the air box cover replaced..fluke deal and was missing one of the clips.
2. Have a few backlights out...Window switch, heat control. Gotta work on those....
3. Parking brake sticks in cold weather (I have a 5 speed)
Other than that, so far so good!

That's actually a good idea to mention the purchase date and option set.
My engine and transmission have been perfect. It's the rest of the truck I've had problems with. Other then that, it's been great, although I've thought about driving it off a cliff a few times
That's good to hear Ripskip.

Oh - one other thing....my high beams don't work! When I flip between low and high, there is NO change. I'm a little vexed on it. I checked fuses and there are no issues. So, I'm not really sure what's up there. Might be my first dealer service visit!

it's strange because the high beam light illuminates...I guess i'm not sure where to start (mainly because I don't know much about it)
But rather than hijack your thread, i'll search for some old ones, or start a new one!

I'm at 53,722 purchased inmid July '05 Adventure package. has been in shop more times then I can count - mostly little things (new bulbs, crack roof rails...etc)head/valve issue fixed at around 38,000fuel pump replaced 3 times - in shop for while till they figured why they kept burning upradio replaced twiceand of course the wonderful windshield repairedlast yearand then replacedcouple months agoNow my doors unlock and re-lock when I first accelerate, when hit bumps in the road, make turns. Sometime the "DOOR" light flashes and dings and other times it just dings. It is driving me crazy. Guess I'll have to take it in and see what the problem is.

Should hit 50K sometime next week. Purchase in July '05. Adv. model.
Most problems I've had were kind of self-inflicted.
Three front diffs, one rear axle (complete - stupid service dept. ), t-case rebuilt, busted CV.
Never did have the cylinder head issue.
