Is it normal to find rust on the undersurface of one's H3T, especially a new one?

Default Is it normal to find rust on the undersurface of one's H3T, especially a new one?

I crawled up under my H3T and much to my surprise, I discovered alot of rust build-up on various components underneath. My T is new and I haven't taken it off-road or driven through any creeks or streams. I don't remember seeing rust under my H3. Is this normal to find on a new Hummer?

Most GM frames I have seen get a lot of surface rust... it is pretty normal.

I paid extra for the undercoating on mine off the lot for that very reason
