Before I start, sorry if this is a repeat of an old question. I just bought a 2006 H3 with the 6 disc and Monsoon system and factory sub, and have been looking into putting my Pioneer Avic-F90BT Navigation from my last car in it. I have looked online, and have found a lot of adapters for Bose, but none for Monsoon. Can anyone recommend an adapter that I can use to keep the Onstar?

I will keep the stock speakers and sub for now, but I am planning putting my amp, sub, and speakers in it a little later. I am trying to figure out where to put my JL Audio 500/5 amp, and keep my storage space. I would appreciate any help.

METRA AXXESS GMOS-04 worked fine for me. Note there are two versions, one for amplified systems like the monsoon and one for base systems. A good installer can make the amplified version work for either.

There's a little set screw on it that adjusts the gain for your door chimes and such. It really affects your sound quality so you will want to experiment with that one.

I placed my alpine PDX5 amplifier under the front seat. Does not interfere with the seat workings and gives me easy access to adjust gain controls if needed.

JL makes a stealthbox to replace the factory sub, Expect a couple weeks for delivery as they are custom made. The best price I found was a dealer cost audio online. Saved nearly $100 over everyone else's price. shop around and you can find one just under $500.
