Hey guys (and possibly gals)...been a while since I joined a forum. Recently purchased 2006 H2 SUT. Not sure if this is the place to ask, but looking to do an upgrade to a Magna supercharger. Would appreciate some general feedback if anybody has done this installation. I.E., ease of installation, horsepower and TQ gains, any negatives, etc. Thanks in advance!

We have a guy up here with the Magna SC on his H2, tore up his trans pretty quick, had it rebuilt with some beefy aftermarket parts, been rebuilt 2 times since then.

Agreed. I think between the vehicle weight and trying to turn 4 huge wheels, the stresses on the drivetrain with forced induction are just too great. I personally would not do it to my 2 but to each his own.

Hey guys! I appreciate all the feedback. Definitely has me thinking. At the risk of sounding presumptuous, money is not an issue. I just don't want to make an investment that is going to give me more headaches in the end than its worth!!!

Yeah, I mean a properly built engine with forged internals, beefed up transmission/transfer case, and all the proper supporting nonsense-adding fuel injectors, dyno tuning, water/meth, intercoolers, etc will get extremely expensive.
In our case, the engine is pretty bulletproof, its the rest of the drivetrain where you'll have significant issues if you don't throw down some serious cash.
To me I don't think its worth it. You could probably do a diesel conversion for cheaper and end up with far more torque and probably HP as well for cheaper.
