I give you credit for trying Sgt, but you are running into the same problems I did on here; a whole lot of people in your area but they all stop talking when you mention a get-together

It's like that in Chicago as well. At least I have ONE person in Chicago that wants to go out for meets.

your correct- I had two good events that I sponsored but I guess when it comes down to it---the people that can make it and want to bethere will be at any event.

I know its cold and I thought my idea for a fun day was good... ohh welll,,,,,,,,,,,,

You do have good ideas, but I found out the hard way people talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

We have our little group of people that go off-roading but I'm the only one from the Chicago area. HummerMike is the closest to me. The "new guy", thehammerh3, is the only person I've met since I've had the H3 that actually wanted to get together locally and do some things. I've met a few on here but whenever I talk about putting something together, they just dissappear, so I gave up.

I'm hoping once more people buy Hummers that there will be a bigger calling for more local get-togethers.

 

I'd get together more but don't like driving 3 hours each way just to hang out. Once in a while is ok, now if it was an off road event I'm there. We'll have to get you to come down here, too.
