Isn't a +15 offset bad if you want to run larger tires?
nope..... just the opposite. A stock sized rim will rub the control arm at full lock with a 35" tire.....a+15 will not...but will stick past the fender a little bit. My rims are +12.

Hey IK, these also come in 2 versions...
I'm still not confident of my wheel sizing. From former posts, it looks like youve got that whole concept dialed inn. What would the difference in these two specs be? I know if the backspacing was the same, the -6 would sit out wider?

Here is my guess at what it means...The -6 is a narrower rim and sticks out further so it would be less likely to rub at full over? It would also be a more agressive stance by about ahalf inch?
[*]Backspacing = 5.375 in.[*]Offset = 15 mm.[*]Hub Centric = No
[*]BackSpacing = 4.5 in.[*]Offset = -6 mm.[*]Hub Centric = No

Also, don't forget if you order these, you'll need to get new tires cuz the smallest rim size is 17" and stock is 16"

There seems to be some good deals to be had here

Nice wheel, still like the "black chrome" better though. I have the pro-comp knight chrome series on mine. If you want black, ck that out. They are more expensive, but well built and better looking imo...

*edit* added picture so you can see what Im talking about.

i think my wheels are 17x8 with a 4" off set
and the only place that i have rubbed is on the mud flap at full lock whilst off road
full lock any on road there is no rubbing

the tyre size of choice is 35x12.5x17Name: 11042008033.jpg

How wide are your rims? Offset and backspacing don't mean squat unless you know the rim width.

Offset is a measurement from the mounting surface of the wheel to the centerline of the wheel. Positive offset = more backspacing; negative offset = less backspacing. Backspacing is the measurement from the wheel mounting surface to the rear lip of the wheel. Rim width is usually measured from bead-seat to bead-seat, so a 8" rim, with 0mm offset, could actually have 4.5" of backspacing since the rim lip is included in the measurement. Confused yet.

As to the original question. I would think the same backspacing as the OEM wheels, but with a wider rim (and tire), would not be a good fit. You may want to check around and see if you can find a shop that will let you test fit these sizes.

I'm guessing you mean 4" of backspacing.
