that is interesting, like i said every 1 has a diffrent opinion and so far my nitto tera graplers are in excellant shape after the first 6,000 miles and gona do a rotation asap to keep them going great. maybe the people u are talking to dont have a tire on a 20 in rim like me and have the front leveled and a lift with a custom wheel alighnment, kicks a$$ on dry,wet and snow and the mud is easy as pie, guess it depends on some 1's driveing condition and habbits and there h3 specs so there is alot to take in to consideration. I just got a quote from Firestone on a set of 305/70R16 on my Adventure series. More meat = more fun! :-)
They are having a sale right now; buy 3 get 1 free and here's what I was quoted today:
4 Firestone Destination A/T 305/70R16 (50,000 mile rating)
4 tires X $229.99 = $919.96
1 tire free: -$229.99
Lifetime balance & rotation: $47.96
Disposal fee (4 tires): $10.00
TMPS valves: $31.96
Shop parts: $ 6.36
Total: $786.25
Here's what they look like: http://www.campbellperformancetires....rango%2052.JPG
I thought about the M/T but they will be noisier. Here's what they look like: http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT...on-MT-zoom.jpg
I may still go with the M/T's I haven't decide.
