I was at my dealer this week for service and took a stroll around the lot to look at the H3's. The newer 2007's on the lot have a new license plate bracket on the lower rear bumper. It looks like a plastic "wedge" and allows you to bolt the plate on with all 4 screws. The first thing that ran through my mind was, that sucker is going to get ripped off the first time I go off roading!

Has anyone else seen this? I think it actually screws up the departure angle a little bit.

 

The dealer installed it for free when took for service. They hold the plates better and won't bend the plates onceyou gothrough the car wash.

 

Mike, I did notice this...dumb idea. why can't they give us a nice in the spare tire plate holder like the h2's have?!?!?!

 

I agree. My plate looks like crap after a couple of times off roading. In the spare would be nice!
