New Nav Disc
#6
I too have some construction in my area, but the disc is pretty useful and I am impressed that is shows remote National Forests Roads (4 wheel drive dirt roads) up in the mountains in central Nevada.
I also feel that the graphics are pretty good.
They have side road names at higher magnification and good contrast to read names and roads while bouncing down the road.
I still have the 2012 disc and I often wonder if getting a newer one would be worth the costs ??

In the H2, I just added bluetooth capability and use WAZE on my phone for guidance.
I Just need to look down below dashboard Nav to see my phone, plus it talks
"In 500 feet, make a left as KickAss Ave"
"Beware, police reported ahead"
In my H3 I replaced radio with Android unit (Asteroid Parrot)

That's the thing that has always made me nervous about factory NAV systems; keeping them updated. I suppose in some parts of the country, it's not too big of a deal, but in SoCal, there is road construction going on 365 days a year. My smartphone with Google Maps is always up to date!
