Hey guys. Im Clayton, just purchaced a red H3 from Champion Chevy in Johnson city, TN. Im located in Kingsport.

Anyways I was just wondering if I bought a H2 Light bar, if it would fit on the H3 luggage rails or where ever?? I've heard it was done before.

I doubt it, the documentation for the Thule rack feet that I bought for my H3 show that only the H3 and previous generation LR Discovery share the same roof tracks.

 

I was wondering maybe if there is a way to take the mounts off of that bar and get some for an H3 track and put those on that bar... Im sure it could be done... Im just trying to find a way to keep from spending 1000$+

 

Oh, I thought you were wondering if it was drop on compatible. If you're willing/able to modify the H2 bars, that's what I would do. It shouldn't be too much trouble to cut the bar narrower, reset the feet and lamps as needed, and find H3 track compatible clamping nuts and bolts to lock it down.

yeah it would help me alot if I knew someone around here with an H2 I could to some measurements with and compare mounts and what not. Im sure its possible..
