I've owned my H2 since the end of Feb. and I only have had 2 people give me the finger so far, but I like that alot!!!!!!!! It gives me the chance to run up behind them and scare the sh*t out of them. I have never had anyone do anything to my truck in any parking lot anywhere. I have had so many people come up to me and ask questions about the truck and want to look inside but that has been about it. They always tell me how lucky I am to be able to drive a HUMMER H2 and they wish that they could drive one too. But that's about it. I don't know where these people come up with their trucks being scratched and tires flattened, maybe it does happen but I live in Florida and have taken that truck everywhere with no problems.

I have had my H2 for one year and have never seen "the finger" or any other gesture that would suggest disapproval. But then I live in Vegas and for some unknown reason there seems to be more H2's in Vegas than most other cities I have visited.

On the other hand, I have had a couple of people want to take take their picture standing next to my H2.

Suspect it has a lot to do with where you live.

I'm in SE Michigan and I see many H2s. Hell, you can't swing a dead cat and not hit an H3 owner..they are EVERYWHERE.

So I suspect I won't see as much hostility as someone in some areas of say California.

'Course if I goto Ann Arbor? Yeah, the hippies don't love Hummers....'course they don't like my 1972 'Cuda when I go out there either...hee hee. Suckin the gas and belchin out smog..
