NEW ERROR MESSAGE!!!! Took 10 minutes to post this!!!
here is the new failure message I am getting when I try to load a page or when I hit ok after typing a post. This is happening 9 out of 10 times now. Took me over 10 minutes just to post this!! Lets hope it goes through.
BTW...there is no problem on my end...my neighbor is a tech for Comcast and he just left my house after checking this and said my end is perfect.

Please bear with us. This problem WILL clear out in time, but this could help it move out faster. [/blockquote]
Solution #2:
[blockquote]
If you are an AOL User, Please try one of the following steps...
Right Click on AOL Icon (not on your desktop, the SMALL icon next to the time on the bottom right)
System Info
Cleared Cache
Utilities, Clear Browser Cache
Re-Built Aol Adapter
Restart
[/blockquote]
[ol][*]Your session timed out.[*]The server was restarted before you made a HTTP POST (posting a message, registering an account, login, etc.) [/ol]
Problem #1:
[blockquote]
You probably spent too much time and your session timed out. This is, however, rarely the cause of the problem because we implemented a session keep-alive mechanism to prevent this issue from happening. However, the server itself could have experienced some problems that prevented this mechanism to work as it should, and therefore we cannot completely rule out the possibility of this either.
You need to make sure your browser has cookies enabled. See below for instructions:
Netscape Communicator 4+:
[ul][*]Select "Edit" from the browser Menu bar[*]Select "Preferences"[*]Double click on "Advanced"[*]Verify that "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server" is selected[*]Select the "OK" button [/ul]
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4+:
[ul][*]Select "View" from the browser Menu bar[*]Select "Internet Options"[*]Select "Security" tab[*]Select "Custom (for expert users)" security level and select the "Settings" button[*]Locate "Cookies" and verify that "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" is enabled[*]Select the "OK" button on the "Security" window[*]Select the "OK" button on the "Internet Options" window [/ul]
If you already have cookies enabled and still experienced the problem, see problem #2 below for other possible causes.[/blockquote]
Problem #2:
[blockquote]
Your server experienced problems and was forced to restart. Restarting a server will erase all session data and our protective mechansim had no choice but to drop your HTTP POST because we had no way to identify you without valid session data.
Many forum administrators host their forums on shared servers, on which could have more than 200 sites hosted together. Sometimes the server has to be restarted

RE: NEW ERROR MESSAGE!!!! Took 10 minutes to post this!!!
Hey IK: You have ALOT more problems then anybody else does on the forum. I KNOW there are major server issues, but are you using any special firewall, anti-spam or anti-spyware software? Alot of the issues you have are problems that can also be caused by any of those pieces of software.
BUT, if you have absolutely no problems with any other web site or forum, then I'd agree that it's not you. I just thought if you have other issues I'd help you fix them. I just thought Id' be nice and ask.

Thanks Mike, I am on three other forums that are as busy as this one and I don't have any problems at all, so I don't think the problem is on my end. The other sites are completely loaded before I get my finger off the mouse button. It has been alot better so far today, I'm guessing there is something bieng done. The google ads are whats slowing it down I believe.

RE: NEW ERROR MESSAGE!!!! Took 10 minutes to post this!!!
well in the end the google ads don't load, they just slow everything down a few minutes while they try to load. Once they fail the page finishes loading and where the ads are an error message appears in their place, saying that this pae could not be loaded.
