RE: new dvd player
Definitely functional and I'm sure it works greatbut I must admit I'm not very fond of the look. I'd probably go with a 15" Xenarc drop down when I get rid of my current 7" roof mounted display ...

I got a extra 42"plasma if you want to throw that in there too....JK
I installed my own headrest monitors for about 160.00 each and they are perfect .. Screw the dealers prices..

RE: new dvd player
Not arguing your logic here at all my friend .. and I was not doggin you or your purchase in any way!!! Just my honest opinion here. The cost difference vs. what it delivers, I couldn't justify the more expensive solution based on just looks .. besides, those things are bigger than the dealer installed head rests :-)
I personally tend to spend about 80% of my summer weekends sleeping in the back of my truck and I'd get real sick of moving those things every time LOL! Having it roof mounted works out very well for me, not only from that aspect but also due to the amount of (skydiving) gear I lug around, I never have to worry about scratching/ruining my display or put an elbow through one when I stumble to "bed" in a Miller induced coma LOL! To each his own, and I must admit that was one hell of a good find!!!!!!!!
