Need some honesty...
People love their H3's and are true enthusiasts. If you weren't, you wouldn't have registered and post on this message board. I could ask a question of why do you love your H3 and I would received a hundred replies. So here is the question that needs an honest answer:
What don't you like about your H3?
It's probably a difficult question to answer, and knowing message boards I'll get some replies that say there is nothing that you don't like, etc.
As an example, if someone were to ask me what I don't like about my current vehicle, I would say the cramped rear seat and outrageous maintenence costs.
Thanks in advance for the honesty!

RE: Need some honesty...
1) There's a slight squeak from the rear hatch area when I go over bumps
2) I wish it had a turbodiesel engine instead of the buzzy I-5
3) Need better lighting (xenons)
4) 6-Sp Manual Gearbox would be nice

RE: Need some honesty...
Window and door locks have been moved forward in 2007....Not a problem with 2007 >
Not the best build quality compared to Toyota.
No locking front diff.
Anemic aluminum front diff.
Too heavy for an I-5 ....Not so with Alpha.
Not enough off road equipment available from after market makers.
Poor seat control location if you have man-sized hands.
IFS sucks!
But all in all it's a pretty good ride.

You guys are awesome. Thanks so much for the quick and honest replies!
Can you expand upon the IFS issue? Is it more of an issue for off-road driving, or do you feel that it is effecting you for your daily commute?
Can you expand upon the "crappy diffs" issue? Again, is this an issue for off-road driving?
Some of the other issues thus far appear to be more personal preference items.

ifs = independant front suspension...sucks for off-roading but makes it smoother on-road.
Front diffs have had exploding problems when wheeling hard....not all the time but it is an issue that has hapened too much. It does get replaced with no hassle under warrenty.

RE: Need some honesty...
My biggest complaint isn't so much with the vehicle, but with people. I get tired of being degraded because I drive a Hummer. Funny thing is, most of the people that give me the snide comments commute distances over 100 miles!
Yeah, the stigma of being a Hummer owner is my biggest complaint.
