Default need mud tire advise

I have a 95 with 38" thornbirds on it. I knew getting these tires that they would be extremely soft and below load range, but I've worn them out in less than 6000 miles. It's not my alignment either. I want to know what kind of tires you guys run that is a harder compound but still looks like they belong on an h1. I would like to stay at a 38 inch mud tire. Thanks!

Now when it comes to highway driving they are horribly loud and rough. No matter what the temp was at night, they are always flat spotted in the morning until you drive a few miles. Then they round back out

I am thinking radials for my next tire. Driving on pavement in Texas heat makes me think of tire seperation.

I first put 37" mud grapplers on(before my 6" lift) I put about 3000 miles on them and they were still like new...my 40's only have a few hundred miles on them so I honestly don't know how many miles I can get out of them..most of the reviews say I can get a lot of life out of them...I really love them!
