Need help, urgent! (headlight question)
Ok.. so, I need to get the truck in for inspection, so today I took out my HID kit. While doing so, my fingers grazed over the bulb[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@].
Needless to say I'm pissed.
Question: How do I clean the oil off so it doesn't explode because I don't want to pay 80 bucks for a new set of HID lights.

A cleansoft lintless cloth, like a good quality polishing cloth. Wear unpowdered latex gloves while handling the bulbs to avoid this problem.
You should be able to wipe off any oils, turn the cloth a few times to make sure you got it all.

Why would you need to remove them at all for inspection? Many many luxury cars nowadays comes with HIDs, they're way better than OEM lights. I don't see why you removed them to begin with.

Muddy - it was an ebay kit
pteam - HIDs are illegal when cased in a reflector lens, when placed in a projector lens, as when on luxury vehicles, they are ok.
Oh, and problem was solved with a cotton ball and so 91 percent isopropyl alcohol
