Guy's give her a break already. She is trying to explain something that she did say was nearly impossible to explain.
Since it is that hard to explain though you really should just take it in and have it looked.
Please do report back as to what the issue is also when you find out.

Nah, definitely the transfer case. But then again it could be different size tires front and rear, or a front diff thats got some sheared teeth. I'm betting its a computer issue somewhere- those are the worst to diagnose and not the cheapest to fix.
But I'm just a chopper mechanic and the H3 doesnt have a tail rotor so my diagnosis might be worth what you paid for it.

Hey....calm down.
So anyways. Does the truck actually have any vertical movements while rolling or is it only a back and forth type deal?
If it move up and down also, my best answer would be a tire, or suspension component.
If it is strictly a surge fore and aft at low speed it could be the torque converter going out or a tuning issue that isnt allowing the converter to unlock.
If it's something you are goin to try and fix yourself, the 1st thing id do have the dealer reflash your PCM, sometimes, if your nice, they may do it for free. Otherwise it'll cost about 100 bucks.
Also, do the rpms sputter at all when this happens?

Just trying to eliminate some obscure possibilities....
Do you have automatic or manual transmission?
Does it surge in reverse?
Please post the result when you finally get it diagnosed.
(even if it is embarrassing)
Speaking of embarrassing..... please tell me you havn't got the handbrake on!
