Default Need help on HID install

Trying to hook-up a pair of HID headlites and not sure what wires to tap into on the stock plug. The kit didn't come with the proper plug from the ballast to the stock headlite plug so I'm trying to find out which wires are the right ones. The harness that should go from the stock plug to the ballast has only a red (+) and black (-). The stock plug which would normally attach to the stock bulb has a(violet/red/lite blue).I know I'll only have low beam when all is installed. The kit doesn't have seperate ignitor as it is part of the ballast. Any help would be great!

sorry it took so long, I got busy.

OK on my factory plug I have blue, orange, violet. but my harness is new due to it melting a few months ago (before HID's where installed) Anyway the middle wire( orange for mine, red for yours) is the low beam power wire...the blue wire is the ground and the violet is the high beam power wire.

Heu Importkiller,

Thanks for looking at your harness for me. That was exactly what I needed. Got them hooked-up no problem once I knew which was which. Interesting thatI can turn my highbeams on and I don't lose my HID's even though I no longer havehighs.

Anyway, thanks again for the assistance!
