Need a Battery
#12
I just bought a new battery for my H2. After doing some research, I found out that most of the batteries are made only by a few companies that just are rebranded (autozone, walmart, etc...). I ended up just getting a battery at Walmart. It was only $109 compared with almost $200 for others. So far, no issues and was a perfect fit.

Are you going to just run the stinger as the only battery? I'm suddenly in the market for a battery and somebody had told me about Kinetic power cells just last night, which sounds just like the stinger product, so I'm wondering if I can replace my current battery with a car audio power cell and call it good.

its not likely that anyone could run a stereo loud enuf, long enuf to drain a good battery.
i can see a second batt wired as a spare backup, with a charging diode to keep it up and ready to start if the main was dead.
i have tested the system, running, with lites on,fan on high,AND a 65 amp external load. thats close to 100 amps, or 1200 watts. the gen delivered a min of 12v with that load.
if a stereo was actually delivering 500 -1000 watts for a short time, your ears would likely be finished, b4 the music!!
a regular good quality batt,(or 2) is just fine
