You can go wherever you'd like... Most places will have a battery for you. However it may not seem like it, but you will prob get a better quality battery at napa than at Wally world...

Wally World sometimes sells Optima's.... so in that case Wally world would be better....

Wally also sells more batteries... so it might be newer... I've actually had a guy at NAPA try to sell me a 18 month old battery...

the sticker on the side is good to look at.

I love my H3 but for reasons I can't explain it eats batteries for lunch This is the only problem I have had in 6 years of ownership. All of my problems ended when I bought a Die-hard platinum. Best $200 dollars I ever spent, I also have one in my 97 Cherokee XJ. For the record consumer reports rates them at the top also. As i understand it most batteries are the same with different labels. Apparently this battery is made from non recycled material, someone correct me if I am wrong.

ill second the optima 6 pack. I have had great luck with my 2 new ones i got over the summer. one was in our boat for the trolling motor, the other is in my explorer. its a great battery imo compared to any of the others in our 6 vehicles.

Default Dual poster type

I got a HD Interstate with dual posts for my H2. It is great to hook up aux loads and for jump starts. I also installed a battery tender in the engine bay, 'cuz the wife don't drive much any more.

Default Battery replacement

I replaced with an Autozone battery. I try to buy a 36 month battery because that seems to be the most time I get before having to replace them on any vehicle I've ever owned. If you buy anything over 36 month you'll have to pay a pro-rated fee any way and it usually is close to the 36 month price. If a 36 month battery fails and is under warranty you won't have to pay a pro-rated fee.

The OEM battery died on the H3 a few months ago. I replaced it with an old Optima yellow top I've had for years (and I traded for it, used). I swear, those batteries just don't die.

I recently installed dual Optima 35 yellow tops. Great battery so far.
