I was supposed to go to the lake today, but my wife refused to go in the H3 loaner I have.

I'm not sure if this is what your describing, but it's a possibility. I've worked at a Hummer dealer since the H2's came out up until I opened my own shop. It sounds to me like the problem you are having is starting with the keyless entry, which then causes a theft detterant situation causing no power. The most common problemwith those keyless entry systems is the passenger door module, it controlls the keyless entry function. GM had a service bulletin about reprogramming the pdm for an intermittant "lock up" condition. Just thought you might want to check with the dealer to see if they have tried that, you never know, they might have a bunch of new techs that don't know this issue because it is a fairly older problem.
