My rear half accidentally slipped into 4lo-lock but not front?
At least that's my hypothesis.
I have an '09 H3T 5speed with Adventure Package. I was pulling into work after a 20 mile drive, and had to stop at the gate to put in the key code. Pressed on the gas, and it barely moved. Made me think I engaged the parking brake, but that wasn't it. No light on the dash, and pulled the handle to make sure it was fully disengaged; still had a problem rolling. Well I was blocking the entrance so I powered through it and limped to the nearest parking space. The space was on a decline and when in neutral I wouldn't roll an inch. Well I had to go to work, and thought about the problem all day.
I went out to my truck to head home, and it's having the exact same problem. I notice that the 4hi-lock light is on(I know I never pressed it), so I press the 4hi-unlock and the problem is still there. I press the 4low-lock let it engage, THEN back to 4hi-lock and the problem is gone.
What in the world just happened? Is this a sign that the transfer case or differential fluid needs to be changed? It does have 75,000 miles on it, I bought it at 72,000. I have no clue about this kind of stuff.
Thanks for any help and insight.

While it would not be a bad idea to change the T Case fluid, fluid condition is not going to create the condition you described.
You may have been in Hi Lock for a long time unknowingly and that is not good on dry pavement. That could cause torque build up in the TC and come pretty close to what you describe. Hard to say. Sometimes when the TC is torque loaded, you need to back up to free it up before it will come out of lock, but placing it in neutral would do the same thing.
No codes or other info in the DIC? Did anybody else drive your truck? If not keep an eye on things, some times the 4X4 control buttons get stuck/sticky, and even bumping one by accident can cause it to switch without noticing.
