I'm not into the game thing as much anymore, but I can say my last computer I got had Vista and within two days it was gone........back to XP pro, just to many problems with it.

Well, some developers have a big ego
Hey Stan; Have you ever played this one?
http://www.microsoft.com/games/pc/trainsim.aspx
I haven't had a computer fast enough to play it yet. Now that I do, I was thinking about buying it. I hear it gets boring after a while, but I wanted to check it out because I wanted to use it kinda as a guide for our next road trip believe it or not.

OK, maybe this isn't the one I was thinking of since it says it only needs a 266 Processor. There is one that came out last year that was supposed to be really great. Is that the one you are trying to run? I could have sworn it was the MS one.

I like the ones where you have to route the cargo... and stuff....
I guess I will just go back doing what I am good at.... flying....
I guess I could fire up my PC.... but I like the laptop...
ah **** it... I don't have time for games anyway

I ordered this today:
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...p;sku=A1514366
For the money, it seems great. I did a search for the specs on the chipset and apparently it's the only budget chipset that does this DX 9 Shader 3.0 that DX10 cards only use.
512 MB DDR2 RAM at 400 Mhz, 533 GPU at 8X AGP bus for $56? I couldn't pass it up, considering the card that came with this computer I was given was a Rage 128 Ultra with 32 MB RAM AGP 2X (and I had Dell credit available)
That Train Simulator 2.0 looks sweet though. My wife thinks I'm really having a mid-life crisis after telling her I was going to get it. I told her, we can take virtual train rides on and figure out which one we really want to go on in the fall.
She wasn't buying it too much [&o]
