Dam those Taillights do look sick!

Yes they are the tactical wheels. They were hard as hell to find. Found the full set on ebay. I got lucky.

As for powder-coating yours black: Only the chrome ones will turn out to look right. The regular painted wheels are slightly different and do look as nice IMO.

Good luck and keep searching ebay.

Hey - Could you tell me where you grounded the roof mounted small extra brake lamps? I'm curious if you did each individually or group grounded them. Thanks very much - John '07 Tactical

I grounded them all together and then to the chassis.

As for tactical Wheels. I luv them and hated the factory silver wheels. Happy that I found a set. They are glossy.

I did my wheels myself and have been very happy with them. I used matte black and here's how they look now. I've been off-roading several times since I finished them last year with no scratch throughs at all and no appearance of wear through washes, etc..

Here's a brief explanation of what I used and how I did them.

Has anyone tried the RinoLiner (bed liner) on the side tube steps similar to the front brush guard pictured above? The paint on ours sucks and has already been replaced once under warrantee. I wonder how it would wear with the direct blast from road debris.

If you calculate for the larger diameter tires, I only lost 1-2 mpg. The power is definitely less but I didn't buy it for the power.

How do you like the Avic-Z3 and the iPod interface? I got the same (avic-Z2) with an 80g iPod full of about 40g of music, and it's a pain in the *** trying to scroll through to find what I want. I bought an iPod a/v cable that I find works much easier, but you have to use the iPod to pick tunes. I just got the bluetooth interface and rear camera, but have yet to install them (winter in Ohio sucks!).
