I run the Rocky Road sliders. They stick out enough so one can use them as a mini step. I take mine off in the spring and have them sandblasted and I paint them myself and they look like new. If you want to wheel you need them, and some good UCP. Without protection With protection nuff said

For you fellas that have this "perception" that you need nurf bar steps for vertically challenged better halves. I hear that BS all the time. Its like letting your kid sleep in your bed until they are 12 or something.

My wife is 5' tall, we have been married for 25+ years, never had a nerf step on anything, certainly not the 3. Unless you are disabled, you just have to lift up your damn leg and climb in.

She has zero issues with that. Train them right early, if you buy dinner they can jump in the truck, get over it and they will as well, loose the useless nurf bars.

Just another Tip from your uncle Doc.

glad to hear that you have a low maintenance unit doc. I bought the hmmwv with 39.5 tires to get the h3t step up to be the best option of the rides.

My better half has rheumatoid arthritis. On good days she has no problem getting up there. and she is 5 foot tall. But on bad days she really needs the nerf bars. We both hate them though.

I bet your wife couldn't get in my H2....with 40" tires & a Fab Tech lift I doubt I could get in without steps...
