How could that be better when Monsoon runs 7 speakers while Nav Units runs only 4 speakers. Maybe I'm wrong again

 

I dont know about your Nav but mine runs all 7 speakers.

 

Which brand do you have?

 

Pioneer Avic f700BT, now I did buy the GMOS-04 adapter which retains certain stock features such as the built in amp, door chimes and onstar, that could be why but then again I dont know enough to tell for sure. I did only connect 4 RCA connectors for audio for front and back, but I checked each speaker and all are working so who knows how they set it up.

 

How about the sound quality? Is it better than the monsoon?

Well at this point I would say yes the sound does seem clearer and just cripier all around, however, me having bad memory to details such as these I would not swear by my word I thought Monsoon had an amazing system, especially compare to many other premium systems installed in trucks I tested befoer buying the H3. I do think there is a siginificant difference now that I was able to adjust the audio volume. I dont know if you read my other post but originally I thought the volume was very low. I was able to adjust that with some help, its a little **** that you turn on the GMOS adapter. Then again my wife drives the truck so I did not really have a good chance to test it out yet completely as I just finished setting everything up last weekend. I did not really want to play the stereo too loudly together with the base around the house as a couple of neighboors would probably end up having a heart attack them being older and all

 

Does the 6 disk monsoon system in a 2007 h3 have built in bluetooth?

 

I am not sure about 2007 but the 2006 definitely does NOT, 2007 most likely does not either, no idea about the newer models but its probably an extra feature you have to pay for if it is abailable at all.
