Mods Aussie Style
Been working on a draw system to keep things organised when we go away. Setting my rig up as a 2 person tourer which can still mix it off road. have done a heap of mods but this is the latest.
Alos fitted a 60 litre water tank with pump so that we have water on tap at the rear of the car...well we will when I get it connected!

Gidday rhill20,
Yeah apparently us colonials do a lot of stuff that is differnt to the way you guys do it in the states. It is interesting the different approach of people in the 2 countries. I guess it also depends how far and how often you go bush as to how you set up your rig as well.
Cheers

I think it's cool, I just can't afford the room. BUT, I do have one of the kids moving out in a couple of months though (was told of this tonight, lol).
Love seeing the "original" mod ideas. So many of us do the same old same old. Your water tank is a cool idea!

Mate as much as I love my kids, itis sooooooo much easier when they can drive themselves!
This is the first time I have been able to take out the rear seats and it really gives all sorts of options which were not available previously. The cargo barrier behind the front seats also means we can stack things higher without getting our skulls caved in.
You can not see in the pics but the fridge/freezer is a bit shorter than the drawers and in that space I have created a "cage" where I will mount an Inverter plus all of the electrial...fuse box, plugs for fridge and lights etc. the idea is that it is all modular and can be unbolted in sections and removed is necessary.

I love seeing the results of people’s ingenuity and resourcefulness prove out in such a well-finished manner.
Hell of a job. A fine example of "Purpose Built".......As they say in the most recent Hummer advertisements here in the states.

Great looking setup. I haven't needed something like that. I have lots of offroading areas within an hour of home - and the ones hours away still have hotels nearby. No camping gear yet for me so I haven't needed to equip myself as well as you have.
