Have a leakdown test perfermed on the clyinder head. I've had to replace the cylinder head on my 06 H-3 twice now. The #3 clyinder had leakage past the intake and exhaust. The first time replacement was under warranty at 37,000 miles, and the engine encountered the same a problem and 97,000. Called GM Customer Service and they basically told me that, I was on my own and would not assist with any repair. Totally disappointed with GM workmanship and quality. It is my first and last GM Product that I will buy.

Did you replace the cylinder head? What a bummer, one would expect to get at least a 100k on the vehicle before encoutering such major repair.

I had the rough idle issue and stalling, I replaced the variable valve timing solenoid (part# 917-010) $29.00 on Ebay. This solved the issue and it took 10 minutes.
