As a matter of fact I do, exactly as you describe. It's only the top half thats loose, from the hinge up, not the part connected to the door. I was going to start a post of this myself but you beat me to it. I looked for something to tighten but I didnt see anything. Is it tightenable or is the whole mirror bad? Anybody have any input???

RE: mirror shake
Someone else on the forum mentioned this a few months back. Can't remember who it was.
Mine does it, but I didn't worry about it too much initially.
Recently though, I drove to Raleigh and back for business, and cruising at 75-80ish for most of the interstate driving, it was shaking like a pussycat doll.
Right side seemed stable and sturdy.
I'll prob just ask the dealer to look at it next time I'm in for service.

RE: mirror shake
I have the same problem on an 2008 H3 (left mirror) but happens even when idle with loud music on (without crazy bass, just normal, regular settings that are pre-programmed into the stock Monsoon system). I am used to import cars, and they never do that at any speeds or loudness of music. So the best way is to have it replaced by the dealer? Is that free since it's a defect or smth?

RE: mirror shake
mine did that also. I waited until both mirrors did it before I took it to the dealership and they fixed it in about 10 minutes. They said it was loose. Have not had any problems since.
