Default Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ feedback

Has anyone had experience with the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires on their H2? I ran 50k up on the OEM BFG's, then switched to the MTZ when we moved to Baja. Got 20k out of them which I kinda disappointed with. Went back to the BFG's. Have about 27k on this set and maybe have another 10k left max. Thinking about going back to the MTZ. Just love the way they look and work off-road. Wondering what kind of miles others have gotten on the MTZ.

Regular rotation at every oil change (5000 miles for me) and proper tire pressure can make them last over 50,000 on an H3/H3T. I know the H2 is heavier but the same principles apply.

Thanks for the feedback Tainter. I do rotate my tires every oil change. I think the weight of the H2 combined with slight under-inflation for the conditions of driving in Baja (pot-holes, crappy pavement, washboard) probably doesn't help either. Probably give them another shot and see.

Have you though about giving some Toyos a shot? Pretty amazing wear life.
