Thumbs up Mickey Thompson Baja Claws review

I have to drop a quick line about these tires for anyone looking at buying a set.I have put about 10,000 miles on the tires so far.Other than steering wheel shutter and a small decrease in milage (and three rock chips in the windshield). These tires are excellent.Last night I drove from Steamboat Springs CO to Denver in complete white out over the mountain for anyone not familiar with this area it consists of steep climbs and about 20 miles of switch backs.I never lost traction on icy snowpacked roads,I have yet to get stuck in snow, mud or sand. The only drawbacks to these tires are as stated before steering wheel shutter, loss of milage (do to being 285/75 instead of 265/75)and they throw rocks like crazy. In all I highly recommend this tire.

Tread wear is actually really good.I still have 90% or so tread left.I havent really done any true wheelin with them yet.I work in the Wyoming oilfield so I drive off paved roads everyday I'm up there.I have been through some decent mud holes and a lot of sand. The last trip was the first real snow storm I've been through with them. They worked great for not having any sipes.

Steering wheel shutter? Chips in the windshield? I had the 285's and got rid of them because they wouldn't perform like I though. I didn't have any steering wheel movement or chips though. Felt like they were still the mall terrains. Great wear, quiet and smooth ride, but not for what I needed them for. Glad you're having better luck with them than I did!
