My son just asked me this weekend "Dad why doesnt the horn beep when you hit buttons"? I said son its a Hummer and its not suppose to. I told him something about being too manly to have a little beep go off! Well lets hope he doesnt read the posts here. Thanks for the info as againI learned something here. I guess the next time it beeps I can lie to him and tell him I had one installed because I know he likes the beep and hegets his license in June and I did it for him. See we all win!

My son got his license a year ago, still hasn't driven either H3. Not sure I'm ready for that.

RHill20, I got a daughter thats 21 and when she started driving I was nervous to let her drive my vehicle at that time. Maybe I am gettng old but I am not too worried with the son. My wife lets him drive her vehicle and i dont care. The other day I needed to go to the hospital and when they picked me up the son was driving the H3. I made a comment about him driving my vehicle and that he needs to keep drivingmy wifes. But we went to PAin Nov and he drove for a good four hours. So again I thinkI am getting old and just dont care. Just cant let him know about that beeping horn alarm!

It's really not as bad as it reads. A couple of minutes and you're done

Hahahaha... I have my h3 for over a year now and it didn't even cross my mind to ask (or research) this issue... As soon as I leave the office I'll change the settings

I've changed mine back and forth several times. Beep-no beep I can't make up my mind! But I'll tell you what really makes me crazy and I don't know if it can be changed is that only the drivers door unlocks with the first push of the unlock button. If you want to unlock the rest of the doors you must push the unlock button a second time! I want ALL the doors to unlock at the same time becauseI always forget and my ole' lady is standing there out in the cold "well, are you going to unlock my door" as she stamps her foot! Oh brother, now I'm going to get a lecture. [sm=icon_blah.gif] The joys of being married for 40 years. [sm=icon_beat.gif]

Did I say that?[sm=oopssign.gif]
