what are the lower grill holes for
and am i gonna have a problem when i block them off tomorrow
these holes

I thought they were strictly cosmetic. What are you going to put over them?

i have a plastic tote top that im gonna cut up and paint black for now
till i can find the Sonoma Red Metallic paint

The only thing that I would thin those holes would do is allow air to get to the engine; however, there's enough space with the upper grill to allow air to pass. You should be fine and I think your idea is good. Make sure youpost some pics when you do it!

Just keep an eye on the temp guage after you cover them. The other thing that you could do is paint the hole area a flat black and I think then that it would all just blend in. Also IMO if you paint the holes sanoma red they will just stand out even more. Another thought is some of the chrome trim thats being sold on ebay. I bought some to put behind my grill but its to damn cold to spend that much time outside yet. This stuff that I'm taking about is a fine chrome mesh, and it sells for about ten bucks which I think included shiping.

By the way, that top photo looks kind a familiar for some reason. humm LOL

$120.00 a qt ... im glad a 1/4 of a qt will do
if everything goes well i'll have some pics tonight
