and today i in my rear Flow Muffler the stock comes only one side like it show here https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/m...91538-7986.jpg but what i did haha i didnt want to buy a new one but i needed to give it a good sound and cheap spending hmmm so on the opposite side of the muffler i cut a small circle same size of the original one and put the hose in the hole and Welding it very well and now i have a 2 way air exit muffler like that
with a great sound not to noise but good and keep the car keep pressure in the muffler and the temp of the car will be a little slight down then before.

colorado smoke
maybe as the smoke settles we can expect more of this prattle.
going from coolant to mufflers is hijacking i think but regardless a muffler mod cannot change engine temp.
in a normal, proper engine with normal coolant the temp is controlled by the tstat,ONLY as has been noted here even in 120 deg.
i cannot get my i5 quite up to midpoint,EVER, even when covering the grill with a blanket. never over 198,ever.

Ever since the new radiator with the non-dexacool crap......the H3 has been running at 1/4 to mid-range everyday....I took a 360 mile drive yesterday and she never even got over 1/4 on the interstate at 80. Had the A/C on most of the time and it was a cool 80 degrees in FL. Gotta say the old radiator was complete crap and the new coolant rocks......with that continue on with your hijacking!

Running to cool is not a good thing. Replace your t-stat and you will save on fuel and prevent excessive carbon inside the engine.
