Default Lots of Issues with my 07 H3 (More issue today grrr)

I am not here to bad mouth H3's but I am wondering if anyone else has experienced as many issues as I have with an 2007 H3? Is there anything else that I can expect to break down on this thing?

Issues:

Issue 1 Exhaust Manifold bolts that broke therefore head had to be taken off and sent to a specialty shop to be re tapped. (Over a week to repair).

Issue 2: All the door latches (strap's) had to be replaced some twice.

Issue 3: Some of the exterior plastic trims had to be replaced because of discoloration.

Issue 4: Tire air sensors had to be replaced

Issue 5: Had to reposition park brake cable because of a squeak it was creating

Issue 6: Had to replace all the weather stripping at the bottom of the doors because they were buckling.

Issue 7: Radiator failed and all the trany fluid mixed with the anti freeze. Major issue, new radiator had to be ordered and system had to be flushed 3 times to get all the oil out.

Now I know what you are thinking and the answer is no. I take great care of my truck, it's always services on time and it's never been off road. The wife drives it to work and that's about it.

Anyway, I am thinking of trading but before I do I was wondering if someone has experienced issue other than those mentioned.

Sorry for your bad experience, but so far my'07 has been solid through 53K miles. Other than the normal wind noise on the front windshield, not much to report.

First significant breakage was last week. After driving through some not quite frozen mud offroad the outside temps hit single digits. Next morning the back doors wouldn't open so I grabbed the right rear door handle and gave a mighty pull --- and ended up on my *** with a door handle in my hand. Had to use a hammer and a wedge to knock the frozen mud out of the wheel well and then climb inside and use leg power to open the doors.

My GM dealer (who has dropped Hummer since I bought mine) replaced the handle under warranty even though it was just past 50K miles. I might just do business with them again.

Yeah my Hummer has a bad time of freezing the doors also but its from the tire slinging snow up in the door jams, melts then refreezes when not being used.

My 06 Hummer has 116k miles and No problems. Only thing I noticed is that I can not turn stability control off no matter how loong I hold the button in but im not worried about it.

It also goes off road just about every day

Well this is definatly now the worst truck i ever had....i must have a lemon

My truck is in the shop again, blown alternator and the exhaust manifold is leaking on the other side now. They have to take the head of and send it to be re tapped since the bolts broke in the head. I also have a huge vibration in the steeting wheel when the truck is at idle.

New Years Eve my H3 felt like it went in neutral but it was in drive,I coasted into a parking lot with smoke coming out of the hood and it looked like it was leaking fluid from the radiator.Dealer said the same thing as what happened to your truck. Radiator failed and all the trany fluid mixed with the anti freeze and had to replace the trany ,transfer case ,radiator ect. Then after they got it all back together they found it was misfiring on Cylinder 2 and 5 and could not get the error to clear and replaced the head and exhaust manifold. What is crazy that they had all those parts in stock at the dealer and the service rep said the trany fluid radiator thing is happening a lot. I don't know if I want to keep my rig to much longer as well. Plus I have the same vibration your talking about when the truck is at idle. If you do some searching on this site people have reported that trany radiator problem just after the bumper to bumper warranty goes out and the Dealer will blame the radiator for failure and it will not be covered on the powertrain warranty and that is why i am getting a little uneasy about all these problems

The vibration is probably the five cylinder engine. Every new one I drove had it, inherent in the odd number it seems.

Default vibration??

i keep hearing "vibration"

am i crazy,,,my h307 i5 is without a doubt the best running, SMOOTHEST RUNNING machine i ever owned.

as another poster said, its the reason i enjoy every time i drive it.

i think i'll set a glass of water on the engine and see how long it stays!! it seems they did that with straight 8 buicks,MANY years ago, with a wine glass. they were smoother that a clock motor!

imo if you feel vibes you need a tune up,,,or turn down the radio!!

it sounds like the people who built your hummer were drunk or they worked for toyota and was trying to sabotage hummer. Sorry you are having bad luck with it
