Looking at getting JL Audio Stealthbox any suggestions
Was looking to get a little bass sound in a 2010 h3 without monsoon.
Car Audio - Stealthbox® - Hummer - H3
their websites states that if you do not have the monsoon stereo, "you must purchase a new driver side rear cargo trim panel from GM parts in order to install the Stealthbox®"
has anyone done this? I have searched the internet for a rear cargo trim panel and not even a mention.
What do you need the new panel for? Does it not come off easily?
Any suggestions on a sub then. I would just like to keep the rear clean and not have a speaker with a disconnect just laying back there. And the wife wouldn't even know i did it.

search "monsoon" on this site; you will find the part number for the panel that you will need.
I recently upgraded my entire system including a stealthbox; if your looking for a clean install this is the way to go. Look in the classifieds here, ebay, or craigslist; i picked my stealthbox up for $275.

they tell you to get a new panel because the monsoon one is vented for the sound to go through it. you could prob just port yours and get away with it if you didn't want to buy the monsoon panel. you could also do a "free air" sub install in the jack panel on the rear cargo door as well, there's quite a bit of space in that rear door, not sure how it would sound tho.
