RE: looking to change differential fluid
I just changed both front and rear diffs to royal purple last week. Pretty easy job but that diff fluid really stinks, especially if you spill it while refilling. The rear is alot easier then the front as far as having alot more room. You will need approx. 2and a half litres for rear and 1 and a half for front. Torque both fill and drain bolts to 24 ft pounds. Take the fill plugs off before the drain plugs just in case you can,t get the fill plug off so you won,t be stranded if you couldn,t refill it. Fill both front and rear to almost level with fill hole.

RE: looking to change differential fluid
I have one suggestion tomake life easier especially for the front.... get a small peice of hose ... I used 18" of5/16" fuel hose... it slips on the nozzle of the gear lube bottle and then you can have the bottle much higher.... 3/8" would probably work also...

RE: looking to change differential fluid
I didn't add anything to mine... and I did the fluid change at 50,000 miles... In the past I have changed the diff lube once a year... I felt it was worth it being I had 5.13's in a 7.5" rearend...
