Lookin to lift...Anyone use Shackles?
#31
Well my front is leveled out already just by turning the torsion keys. I noticed it is a little more bouncy now and does dip, which Im told is fixed with bumpstops. I wanted to get a little more height out of the truck thats why I wanted to put shackles in the back and add extended shocks up front and crank the front a little more, are you saying that it isnt a safe/good idea to lift the rear more and crank the front more?

Bumpstops will fix the bounciness. Putting the new shocks on wont lift your ride anymore than it is. You should not go over 24" from center of the hub to fender lip when you crank your T-bars; past that you put a lot of stress on the CV's and tierods. Lift the rear all you want, but make sure your ABS cables have play in them for the rear and that the front is not over 24". The pic I posted has my truck at 23 7/8".
