This is easy to do. You will need a switch, relay and a diode (so the ECM does not know you have it on). Any good stereo/alarm tech deals with these issues every day. Offer to pay for his time and he shouldn't have an issue hooking it up for you since it's simple 12 volt circuitry.

I am actually keep mine where it disengages at 20 MPH and adding a loop to my H2 front locker so it will disengage both at 20MPH. IFS with a locker needs all the safety precautions it can get.

I guess I don't really know how the inner workings of the locker works but if it is under a load, will it remain locked? I havent even tried to go over 20 with it locked to see what happens but just wondering, if you leave the 20+ feature on and youre trucking along and go 21, will it just let go and let you spin to a stop if you stay on the throttle or will it stay locked and then disengage when you lift your foot off the gas?

Under load I would think it would remain locked until you backed off. Anyway this is the case with my ARB locker.

With the advent of the traction control system I can't think of why you would want to do this. The H3 always has plenty of power in 4Lo Lock for everything that I drive over and I'm driving over stuff H1s go over. I don't play in the mud or loose sand that much.

well...you answered your own question then trey...if you did mud, sand or even deep snow wheeling then you want a locker at all times. sometimes your speedo will say 60 and your barely crawling when your going through slippery stuff.....kinda dumb to have no locker in those situations. Traction control helps and makes it better than an open diff but having a locker would be lifesaver.

Stupidest question of the year . . . how do you know if you have a rear locking differential? (Sorry I bought mine used.)
