I'm sure this has been discussed some where before,but what are the best replacement bulbs for the H3T? Sure the Star HID setup would be nice but too pricey right now. I want to replace the head lamps and for lights with a bright white like the PIAA Xtreme White but cant find the 9140 fog light bulb. Looking in the F150 fourms people seem to be using the 9145 but melting the fog light lense. Any suggestions?

 

Try calling PIAA and see what they say, or put an LED in from superbrightled.com
I'm not advertising for them either, just bought some good led's somewhat cheap

 

You can get the Sylvania Silverstars for pretty cheap... $50 shipped for all 4 off eBay...

 

I've used Superstars for years and you can tell the difference. HOWEVER, PIAA's are the way to go. I need to check that LED sight though! Thanks for the post!

 

Installed the PIAA Ultra Whites and they are great. Now need to find a 9140 for the fog lights. Called PIAA and they dont make this number. Wonder if the 9006 will fit by trimming one tab like the F-150 guys are doing without melting the fog lamp assembly?
