light bars
I'm looking to buy a light bar for the bumper of my H3, but i don't know where to start. I'm look to get a 20 to 28 inch light bar but not wanting to spent $1,000+ on a rigid. Looking for something in the $200 price range. Do you guys have any suggestions on what brand to go with? Sorry if this was asked already, but i was unable to find anything on here. Thanks in advance.

I'm really happy with my MicTuning light bars from Amazon. 50" on the roofline and 30" in the lower grille. Both single row, but extremely bright (5W CREE LEDs), and very reasonable pricing. 50" was only $185, and the 30" was $135 when I got them. If you go the double row, the 30" may not fit (the single row was tight, and the bottom of that opening curves in a bit).

There are metal supports on either side of the opening on the inside of the front bumper, although they are at a slight angle. I simply twisted the short brackets that came with the light bar to match the supports and drilled a single hole on each support. Tighten the brackets onto the lightbar enough to be a bit more than snug, but still allow a bit of up/down movement, since you will likely want to adjust the angle after everything is back together, and you can't access those bolts after the bumper is re-installed (yes, I removed the entire bumper to install the lightbar; only good way to do it).

Basic Photobucket no longer offers third party hosting for free and the posters have not signed up for the pay package.
