Do any of you have LED Taillights on your hummer? I see them on Ebay for a decent price, but was unsure of the quality. My passenger side one is cracked and it's just about as cheap to buy a set of aftermarket ones as it is to buy one factory one even if it's used.

I kind of like the look of the black ones, but kind of not. lol I want my truck to look mean, not ghetto. My H3 is the steel blue metallic so it looks like a charcoal blue at night. I'm trying to decide whether I like red:

I got them and love them. I got the chrome ones on ebay because I felt the smoke ones might have dulled the light too much and the ones with the black reflector wouldn't reflect the led's enough. The install is the same as the oem ones but the clips gm used for the tail lights were kinda annoying to me so just be careful when pulling your lights out. I meant to put up pictures when I got them few months ago but never got to it but I just took them now so here they are.

 

Thanks for the pics! Good to hear you like them. I'm leaning more towards the smoked ones because they seem like they would flow well with all of the black trim on the back of the truck.

 

Yeah after getting them i realized the leds were definitely bright enough for the smoked lenses I will probably be tinting mine at some point. The price you found for the smoked ones i think you can find them a bit cheaper so just double check all the sellers offering them on ebay. Good luck and take pics when you get them and install em.

 

I have the Ruby Red IPCW brand. I switched them over from my 08 to the 10. So I have had them about 2 years now with no problems. I chose them because the only white you see is just a little circle for the backup light. The 08 was Victory Red and the 10 Alpha is black and they do look better on the black vehicle. Sometimes the look depends on the color of the vehicle in my opinion. P.S. The IPCW's are DOT approved if that makes a difference to you.

 

Hi this is my second set of icpw for my h2 the first set only lasted 6 months and one stopped working so hopfully this set works for longer. I had to buy another set then send the bad one back and wait, it took almost 3 months for the refund.

 

I have smoked LED lights on my black '08 H3 Alpha. I love them. Got them from ebay and couldn't be happier.

 

Just lookout for your local laws or else the popo can pull you over at an inoppritune time. In FL I know that they can write a ticket for having smoked lenses.
