It seems like the guys driving up the morning of Saturday the 3rd, plan to be at the park at 9AM. That works for me, since I'll be at the hotel the night before!
Just so everyone is on the same page, the 9 AM time is when we want to start wheelin. Everyone by that time should have checked in, aired down and be ready to head out. Don't be late and hold up the group. It's not fun to start the day off with people pissed off.
Those of us staying at the Hampton will prob. get to the park by 8:30 to get these things done.

Also, for the first timers with us:
Make sure you have enough fuel. Don't show up with a 1/4 tank.
Make sure you have brought a lunch. We will be stopping somewhere inside the park for a lunch break.

Labor Day weekend is busy for Rausch Creek. There will be many people checking in Saturday morning. It may take a while to get through the checkin line. Plan accordingly and have your forms filled out ahead of time.

Jake, since you seem to be the liason to the other forum, please make sure those guys are aware of this.

Also, remember, if we want to do the new property, there is an additional $10 fee at sign in...

I think if anyone wants to do the new property it should be Sunday's run.
There is still a lot of the original park that I want to see and would rather do that on Saturday.
But I'll go with what the majority wants. We could decide that tomorrow night over some Honey Jack

I'm planning on hitting the trails earlier than 900ish.... last time 9am became hitting the trails at 1045....and the time before that 900 was 1015. I will be at the park at 8am when the gates open.

I don't want it to be a slap in the face of anybody else wheeling but I already have a certain run in mind and had it planned before Rod started this thread. It will NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT cater to a stock H3. I'm not trying to take anything away from Rod, and not trying to trailjack the weekend.

It's my birthday and for once I am going to be selfish and do what I want to do. Jake and Rod are very capable leaders and if needed I would love to sit down and map out some trails with you guys if you want advice from somebody that's been there 88 times over the last 4 years.

John, if you want to see something different.... I'll show you different. I bet you never saw Winch Hill before...

Yeah Stan, I really don't know where the 9:00 came from. I know we always started before that.
When everyone started saying to meet there at 9:00, I could see hanging around while people did things that should be done much sooner. I was trying to make sure that 9:00 was the LATEST that we hit the trail.

That said, I plan on being part of the early crew.

That sounds good to me Stan. You definitely should hit the trails you want to hit!

I don't know where the 9AM started from either. It just seemed to be the popular thing, so I rolled with it.

I'll most likely get to the park earlier as well, but don't mind waiting at all for the 9 o'clock crowd and leading if necessary. If Rod or anybody else already has their own mind set on a trail plan, that's good with me too.

And to 2nd what Bunger said, for those of you shooting for 9: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be ready to roll then.

Anyone who is planning on showing up Saturday or Sunday morning, please let me know, so I can PM you my phone number. That way if you get stranded or have some other emergency on the way to the park early in the morning, we know to either send help, or go ahead and hit the trail and coordinate a later meeting time!

I've already traded some phone numbers, thanks guys!

it does';t matter what time is set... somebody is always late.... and could care less...

remember the time that Hans and Dan didn't wake up until 20 minutes after I said I was leaving.... and they still sat down and ate breakfast for a half hour...
