i think they look really cool. I traded in a 2002 Maxima for my H3. It had the Xenon lights, really looks cool driving down the freeway, really noticeable. Although I think it is somewhat of a hassle installing. Not sure though....

Yeah my 06 Lexus IS 350 had the BI-Xenon lights. I really miss that-looks and quality. I just want to get the bulbs only for the H3, not to sure about the quality on Ebay.

I dont know the quality at ebay, but I installed on my h3 some xenon 8,000k fog and driving lights, they look awesome at night. it calls a lot the attention, and you see a lot better than stock lights. very happy with mi HID xenon lights.

I have the regular HID kit that I got from ebay, no problem installing...very easy actually...don't listen to people that have never installed one. They look great and work even better. Most on ebay will give youa one year warrenty on the kit, plus the parts are replacable so if the ballast blows you just buy a new ballast, so on and so on.

I wouldn't recommend buying "generic" HID bulbs. A lot of times they are not as bright and don't last long. If you want the color and luminens invest in areal HID kitthat contains a ballast, bulb and plug-in harness. The light output of a good halogen/Xenon bulb is around 1500Lm. A 4300k HID bulb/ballast outputs 3200Lm(200%+ more light output!)and last5 times longer than Xenon/halogen bulbs.
You can find a good HID kit on Ebay for about $200 bucks shipped. Do some research online about the conversion kits. They install in about 30 minutes and are reversable if you need to remove them(end of year vehicle inspections).

3500K Gold Yellow 3,600 (lm)[/b]
6000K Pure White - Blueish 3,200 (lm)[/b]
6000K Pure White - Blueish2nd Gen 4,400 (lm)[/b]
8000K Purple White 2,600 (lm)[/b]
10000K Pure Blue 2,400 (lm)[/b][/align]

I think Import is the one that keyed me in on the fact that all the HID's atm are all low beam only, right? You don't get both your high and low beams while using them.

Yeah that's my H3 with the dual HID's. Don't bother with the 2 way HI/LOW HID kits. The HI beam is about 3% brighter than the low (waist of $). My friend and I installed a hi/low kit on his Xterra and it didn't make a difference. HID low beams are more than enough. If you want exteme lighting go for the low beams and the driving lights. With both on I can see 100ft l/r and 500ft foward. I was going to install the 8" KC HID offroad lights but decided the dual HID's are more than enough. The headlight & driving light design was one of my biggest buying desisions for the H3. It is one of the best designs I have seen.
