Just bought a used 06 H2 with a brushed aluminum OEM roof rack. There are 4 keyholes on the roof rack ends. What are these for? I did not get a key from the original owner. Should there be one or more (ie. are they all keyd alike?). Where do I get a key for this OEM option?

 

It just takes the cap off. You will have to get the keys from the dealer. As long as the bars are the ones that came with the rig, all they should need is the vin. Or all the keys for those are the same

I will contact the dealer for a new key.

 

The key will allow you to take the end caps off and place something like a fishing pole inside. Removal of the caps will also allow you to remove the top rubber strip and let you use the channel as a place to hook bungie cords, straps etc.
