So, my dad moved my H2 this morning and leaned against the door on the way out, locking my keys inside. Only getting it this summer I hadn't come around to getting a spare Instinctively I walked around to check all the doors, this actually set off my alarm So I made a few wooden wedges and took out a trusty old wire coat hanger. I was able to reach the unlock button from the top of the door (which I chipped alittle paint off of ) I tried and tried and managed to LOCK the doors 20 times, but I couldn't seem to UNLOCK it. It felt and looked like I was pushing the button down but nothing was happening. After an hour or two a friend came over with his AAA set up and used a little air bag and strong cable to pull the unlock trigger from the door handle side of the door. After it opened I instantly pushed the UNLOCK button to make sure everything was unlocked but nothing happened . The button only started to work after I placed my key in the ignition. SOOOOO


IN SHORT: If you set off your alarm and the doors are locked. Your UNLOCK button on the door WILL NOT WORK.... You must actually pull the lock trigger to successfully unlock the door.


Hopefully this saves someone the time and frustration.

 

Damn brother that sucks! I'll be getting a spare very soon. Dad owes beer!
