RoadDawg, I hadvibrations on my '06 when I first got it. It would hit right about 45 mph, then stop and then pick up at about 55 - 60 mph. I took it in for service and they changed 2 of the tires. The dealerclaimed that since the truck was in storage at their warehouse for several weeks, 2 of the tires had gotten flat spots and they didn't trust them any longer. All-in-all, the vibration went away, so I don't doubt that they were correct in their assessment.

Have them re-balance all the tires. If any have flat spots, they will not balance right, and they'll be able to tell.

Best of luck,
FDT

I dont think he's gonna have a tire vibration problem at idle - lol. You guys are lucky you dont have vibration at idle. Im pretty sure all Colorados have it. I wonder whats different in your steering or engine isolation?

With 1200 I'd take it back. Mine does the same thing and thay can't find anything wrong. I have them check it every time its in for an oil chang. But I have noticed it is vary sensetive to dirty air filters. It go away with a new air filter. But its worse in cold weather.

I have a slight vibration too. Not to bad, but noticable. I've asked the dealer about it twice ... they act like it's my imagination. It's not.

It's smooth as silk when I'm driving, only vibrates a little in the steering wheel when I'm idle. I have 12,700 miles

Since this subject came up, I've been paying close attention to mine..And true it's there at dead idle while in drive and of course stopped.I notice this vibration...Which to my thinking is the car at idle resonance..I increased the RPMs ever so slightly ..maybe to 650 RPMs and the vibration went away..only at the 550 set idle doI feel it..I'm having my PCM tuned here pretty soon from PCMforless..and from what I understand, is that the idle RPMs can be set too..I think I'll have Alvin kick mine up to 650.
