I just upgraded my stock '06 too and I agree - the pcm4less is money well spent. Planning to add a cat-back soon in hope of getting an extra boost.

I have the PCM tune with stock intake and exhuast (leakey manifold at that).

it kicks Butt! Pulls like a V8 above 4k when pushing the pedal down. Runs a whole lot better.

Ah, a couple recommends from people with a PCM tune on an otherwise completely stock engine. This is just what I was hoping to hear. Thanks!

I was just reading on another thread here that an exhaust upgrade on the i5 won't make much of an improvement - other than sound. I vaguely remember reading on PCM4less states that the biggest performance boost would come from a better fan. Has anyone done this upgrade? Or, done an exhaust change and noticed (or not) a performance difference?

I wanna do a cat back also but will probably wait until my exhaust sh#@s the bed. I do plan on putting a shorty header on soon.

I know few people on hear have done the electric fan kit. I believe doc olds is one....Do a search and you'll see. havnt heard about any performance improvments with new exhaust , but i imagine a less restrictive exhaust and headers would free up a few HP at least.

Guys on the 355nation boards have taken out the cats and gotten 10+ hp out of them on the dyno. The headers are supposed to give you about 30 hp more. I have been looking at doing it once I go for the big tires.

Just saw on the predator inc site that their pcm tune is suppose to give a 40hp boost. Anyone know anything about them vs pcm4less? I'm really happy with the service and performance that I received with pcm4less but I have no idea how much of a hp boost I actually got from the upgrade. Just curious.

pcmofnc.com claims that its a max of 14hp boost. I dont know about the torque, i dont believe it says. Even if it only gave me 14 hp more i am still pleased. The change from the stock is incredible and i havnt lost any mpg's. I can only imagine what 40 more HP would feel like.
