Default Jet Stage 1 Performance Chip 20705

Last week i bought Jet Stage 1 Performance Chip 20705 from jegs.com. I am very disappointed. It do not increase any noticeable horse power, and no batter mileage. It is very costly and worthless. My top speed is same, 0-60 time is also same, gas consumption is also the same. Anyone having same issue with this chip?

I have the stage 1 Jet module and love it. i noticed a difference the first time i pulled out of my driveway! all it really does is advance the timing which is why i now use Mid-grade gasoline like jet recommends and the module was worth every bit of the $195.00 i spent!

OK, I'll ask...

What does this do that the PCM tune doesn't? What is the difference between the two?

Otherway around... what does a PCM tune do that a Jet doesn't? Lots. The PCM tune, such as pcm4less, is eons better. But also more expensive. And IF the dealer ever whipes your ECU clean, you lose your PCM tune.

PCM tune allows for custom tuning, gearing, tire size for speedo, shift points etc.
The chips are just one program for fuel mix & timing.

compare the 2
http://www.pcmforless.com/index.php?...d=54&Itemid=43
http://www.jetchip.com/JET_Chips_Modules.asp

cost - pcmforless $200 / jet $200-$240(current price on jegs)
I know pcmforless runs regular sales during the year for $150 & would guess jet does the same but I've never seen their sale price.

Down side to the tune is yes it could be reprogramed by a dealer.

If you perform a DYNO test before and after installing the jet chip, there will be no much difference in performance. Here we have only two fuel grades, 91 & 95. I am using grade 91 and there is no performance increase. Jet chip with shipping cost me $324 from jegs.
